Truly I think it could go wither way. Rockstar are a talented bunch but in some respects you could GrandTheftAuto is their only big claim and their other titles are nothing too special (Perhaps with exception to Midnight Club).

Never the less there is always a chance that they could make an excellent game that isn't true to "Max Payne".

Well, Remedy not working on the game was a nice kick in the balls to me when heard it in around December. Someone said it'll be very different since Remedy's engine won't be used for the game and will make the game much different than the first two. But hey, at least it's probably coming, and that's some awesome news to hear for a long-time fan like me.

I await Rockstar Toronto's work for this. Never played it myself, but their game, The Warriors, has been said to be amazing to play, even to this day, and that's a pretty old game. All we can do is wait, and like Legend76 said, judge by pictures and video.

Im very happy to see some news which, albeit not concrete, at least comes from a viable source. And its refreshing to hear something after so many years :-)
I agree with Legend about witholding judgement until seeing some pics, but its being made by rockstar leeds, and they dont do crap :-)
Thanks heaps for bringing us some news on max payne! Looks like its not just the site which is having a revival :p

I'm with holding any judgmanets for or against the develiper until I see at least some pics. Just happy that there will be another game in the works for now.
