Max Payne 2 is one of the best story-telling games around, and you are taken for a ride from the start. But there's also pure gameplay and technical features worth mentioning.

  • Bullet-time with shoot-dodging like in Max Payne 1, you can start this on it's own which depletes bullet-time meter or just shoot-dodge which doesn't
  • Graphic novel story presentation as in Max Payne 1
  • A lot of weapons, including dual wielding guns, shotguns, assault rifles, grenades.
  • Difficulty isn't chosen, but adjusted by how the player plays to give more or less health for instance
  • Dead man walking mode (fight till death against CPU opponents) and New York minute mode (timed runs of levels)
