It seems that my speculations were correct, as today Rockstar Games announced a spring release date for Max Payne 3. The game is due to be released in March 2012 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Along with the release date Rockstar also revealed the boxart, the game's new logo and released two new screenshots. All of which, ofcourse, you can find in our gallery. It is likely the game's website will also get an overhaul, as at this moment it seems to be offline.

“Max Payne 3 multiplayer delivers a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and leveling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options,” says Rockstar Games's website.

Update 08/09/11: The game's official website is back online with a complete new design. The first trailer will be out on 14th September. Along with the release of new information and media, you can expect Paynereactor to expand its content as well. Various sections and content will be added and updated as we are headed for release of Max Payne 3. Keep coming back!
