A few days later then promised, but today the official website for Max Payne 3 launched. Along with the release comes new information and screenshots. The website's design is fairly simple which makes it easy to use, but not very appealing to the eye.
In the bottom-left corner you can find random qoutes from the game. Some are a tad cliché but I like 'em! I listed them below:
"I couldn't understand them, but I didn't have to. Cheap hoods are the same from here to Timbuktu."
"So this was it. My easy retirement money. My blood-stained 401k."
"She was hot and wanted to be dangerous. Some good genes trying to fight their way out of a cesspit."
"These bastards made the NYPD look like the Hari Krishnas."
"When had I ever needed to invite trouble in? It always found me, no matter where I hid."
"I'd been stuck in the past so long I'd forgotten what year it was."
"Figure I might as well die in the sunshine as die in the snow."
"It certainly wasn't the first time I'd woken up with a hangover long after a party had turned sour."
"I stood out in this place like a street walker in a monastery."
"First day off the suace, and somehow I'd still ended up in the gutter."
"I ain't slippin' man - I'm slipped"
"I didn't know what to think any more. This town had more smoke and mirrors than a strip club locker room."
You can also find a new video showcasing the lethal 608 Bull revolver, and inspect it even closer in a 360-degree render.
Details on one of Sao Paulo's most vicious and influental cartels, the Comando Sombra and their ruthless leader Serrano, are also given. I took the character page down to update it with these details.
A new preview from the Official Playstation Magazine UK is available to read here.
The new screenshots are, obviously, in our always-up-to-date gallery!

BREAKING: Max Payne 3 DELAYED again!

Max Payne 3 was originally expected in the winter of 2009. To make any kind of sense of it, I need to go back three years. Back to the day the game got delayed. Again.
Max Payne 3 is now targeted for release in May.
For Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the game will launch on May 15 in North America, and May 18 in Europe. The PC version will launch a bit later. On May 29th in North America and June 1st in Europe.
Rockstar Games released the dreadful news this morning. Game site Kotaku reported a few minutes before the official statement was released. The reason behind the delay is not mentioned and thus unknown, but I’m pretty sure the developers need more time to polish the game to make it an even more solid experience.
As I’ve aired in the Max Payne 3 topic on the official Alan Wake Forums, the delay was to be expected since the game lacked some essential marketing so close to release. For example: only one of the five Design & Technology videos has seen the light of day, there’s no full website yet and we’ve only seen one trailer of the game.
The official statement went up minutes after Kotaku’s report, resulting in many outcries on message boards. A lot of fans are disappointed because of the many delays the game received so far. But the fanbase does also realise the quality of the game will only improve because of this.
For those of you feeling a bit let down (like myself), just keep in mind you’ll have even more time now to finish Mass Effect 3, which is still targeted for release in March.
Rockstar already revealed the full website and another Design & Technology video are coming this January. My guess is that every month from now a new Design & Techonoly video will be released, with a launch trailer in May.

Hey guys. It's been an amazing 2011 for us gamers, at least I know I've been playing a lot of games. Skyrim and Battlefield 3 among others. The waiting time for Max Payne 3 is becoming shorter and shorter, in March 2012 the Payne is back on.
Our Cypress has already ordered the Special Edition I think. The special edition has multiplayer weapons, key chain, art prints and a soundtrack. I will personally probably go for the standard edition for my Xbox 360, may supply with the PC version later, but have to make sure I don't spend too much money on games :)
On that note we have a rebate code that you can use to pre-order Max Payne 3 for a great price at Tesco Entertainment if you order before end of friday this week. The code is: EX15PO , links below.
In other news, I will try to spend some of the christmas holidays and vacation to make the last changes and improvements to the site. We'll hopefully add a comment functionality again and add some more features.
Be sure to come back for more insightful articles that you'll find only at PayneReactor, from both me and Cypress. Have a great holiday, whatever you celebrate.

As promised by Rockstar yesterday, the first Max Payne 3 multiplayer details are released today as part of an exclusive multiplayer feature on IGN.
