My trip to New York - the city of Payne

Summary and conclusions
All in all the trip was a great experience, it was amazing to walk around in New York and get a taste of some of the different cultures and sights the town has to offer, and it was also extremely cool to meet the Rockstar guys, Mika and WhiteRabbit and least but far from least, try out Max Payne 2. My impression of Rockstar Games is that they give the developer the freedom they need while providing their insight and assistance in the areas they know best. It's obviously also great for us that run fansites to feel appreciated by the publisher and developers of the game, makes the time we spend more worthwhile. In return I hope our love of Max Payne will rub off on those who visit our pages.

Max Payne 2 definitely looks darker than most of the stuff I've seen in games so far, a lot of it is because the actual theme of the game isn't that humoristic done as e.g. GTA series is, but with Manhunt coming I don't think Rockstar has to worry about any controversy in Max Payne 2. Now I'll have a hard time waiting for this game, 24th October is the European release date, 15th October for the US, now our stores are slow so I just gotta hope they will manage to stay on time this time.

I think replay value is much bigger this time around with the new gamemode, it seems like a lot of fun, and it's also easier to mod for. I think it's a much better alternative than some cheapish multiplayer, it's really a lot of fun. I guess you will have to do without the teasing and namecalling we all love in multiplayer games.... erm... :) Anyway, I'll just end this right now, I will give my impressions of the game after I get it, until then, check out some news and wait wait wait...
