For those not in the know, Kathy Tong is a model and were chosen to play Mona Sax in Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. She didn't do the voice, but her mesmerizing looks and charisma made the Mona Sax character come to life and in the same time created another strong female character in gaming. Did you know anything about Max Payne going into the job?

Yes actually my best friend introduced me to it one night, I loved it totally mental we played for hours.

Do you get a feel for the game at all when you do work like this for it, or is it just like a normal job?

I loved this job, the guys at Rockstar (the producers, ed.) were incredibly cool and I had never done anything like it before, we had a great time shooting Max Payne 2.

Have you played the game? If so, what do you think of it?

Sadly I am hopeless with video games so I can't get past the first level but I totally dig it, it is taking video games in a new direction what with the love story and all.

What did you think of the voice actor (Wendy Hoopes) that voiced your role?

I would have preferred to do my own voice but the part was not offered to me at the time and when they cast it I was out of the country.

How does it feel to be ranked by many gamers as tougher, cooler and cuter than Lara Croft? (Tomb Raider visualized by Angelina Jolie)

I guess that it is quite flattering really, but it is the animators who make us cool.

Will you be working on more game projects, if so anyone you can mention?

I am pretty occupied with my role on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Funny enough Tim Gibbs who played Max Payne in Max Payne 2 used to be a part of that show; small world huh?

Has anyone recognized you on the street? :-)

Yeah, actually 2 kids on the subway in NYC approached me and said "I know who you are" then they pulled out the game and had me sign it. Crazy eh? I couldn't believe it.
